About Us

Overview

Our offices and ongoing projects

The CyberVolunteers Program is implemented by ICVolunteers (www.icvolunteers.org), an international non-profit organization specialized in the field of communications, in particular languages, conference support and cybervolunteerism. Development, exchange of information and service to the society at large are the key elements shared by the communities or organizations involved and by the individuals volunteering though us.

The CyberVolunteers Program recruits, trains and coordinates volunteers with information and communication skills, who participate in local, regional and international projects for a period of several weeks or months. They may offer their skills in areas such as web or software development, system administration and content generation. The Program values in particular on South-South exchanges, but also includes South-North and North-South cooperation. The Program benefits from the patronage of UNESCO-Switzerland.
